Join the front line of action: encourage more women to run for political office, fight to keep abortion legal and available for all women, help publicize the issues, watchdog legislation and enforcement,pursue equality in the courts, organize public demonstrations of support, and take part in the dynamic action team program!

As a member of Akron Area NOW you'll know that your membership fee and contributions will be supporting worthwhile local activities such as monthly meetings, publication of "Knowledge" (our monthly newsletter), marches, local celibrations of Equality Day and Women's History Month, annual Feminist and Chauvinist of the Year Awards and the work of our many task forces and commitees. Your support will enable us to continue to be a visible and vocal force fighting against sexism, racism, homophobia, violence and all other forms of discrimination within our community, state and nation.
